A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Steve J grew up in the inner cities where you can witness first hand the destruction of young black males. Steve is the father of a beautiful daughter. He has worked his way through struggle and with his first book he sets out to address the complex issues regarding the state of young black males.

Steve is a firm believer that one person's pain can lead to another person's uplifting. Steve is currently a CEO of a design company.
